| This splendid map of Scotland is by John Speed. Based on Mercator's map of 1595 it shows the map of Scotland as known at that time. There is a small inset in the top right hand corner of the Isles of Orkney while the map is bordered by sketches of King James I of England & VI of Scotland and Prince Henry on one side and Queen Anne and Charles, Duke of York on the other. 20"x 16" MUST BE SOLD UNFOLDED IN A TUBE (will be dispatched separately by Historic Images Ltd)
