Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You can REMOVE specific items leaving others on your order by clicking SHOPPING CART and checking the boxes of items you want to remove or by altering the quantity of items (up or down) and cllick UPDATE.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Shipping And Handling
We sell maps that can be folded and maps that CANNOT be folded, they are all clearly labelled THIS MAP CANNOT be folded. If any map in your order cannot be folded then you MUST select UNFOLDED PROTECTIVE TUBE when selecting your shipping method. Failure to do so will result in your map shipping being delayed until we confirm permission to add the cost of shipping to your order.
Our Shipping rates are as follows:
UK : £1.00 per order (incl VAT at 20%) on 'FLAT FOLDED' maps, UNFOLDED 'TUBE' maps £3.50 per order (incl.VAT at 20%)
EUROPE : £2.00 per order on 'FLAT FOLDED' maps, UNFOLDED 'TUBE' maps £4.00 per order (+VAT at 20%)
NORTH AMERICA and AUSTRALASIA/NZ: £ 3.50 per order on 'FLAT FOLDED' maps, UNFOLDED 'TUBE' maps £5.50 per order
REST OF WORLD : by arrangement
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 business days . International orders are generally received in under 7 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero . Normally though Maps are ZERO RATED for VAT purposes so you will normally only be charged VAT on the shipping part of your order.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. If your map is damaged in transit we will replace it with a fresh one of the same area and date (assuming maps are in stock). Please call (+44) 01599 566751 for returns.

Caledonian Maps do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Returns Policy
If you are not entirely happy with your products you have the right to return your goods within seven days of receipt.
If your map is found to be damaged in transit we will be happy to replace it. Please note we do not normally exchange damaged maps for one of a different area or period.
