ABOUT US
We are passionate about maps!
Yes we love maps! We read old books about the origin of cartograpghy and about the first maps created covering Scotland. We owe a debt to John Wood (towns) John Laurie (large scale maps) as well as Grassom and many others for bringing 2D clarity to literally unchartered territory. Historically, the area in the Highlands (where we are based) was just a vast uncharted mass known for its unconqured Pictish and Celtic peoples.
Nowadays, we can be found in Forres, Moray that is just off the A96 road that runs from Inverness to Aberdeen. We are located about 5 miles inland from the Moray Firth. There is a long-standing dolphin pod that lives just off the coast and it is remarkably dry and warm for the latitude.
Drop by and have a cup of tea if you are passing by but give us a quick call beforehand to check we are in.

We are foremost a publisher and are developing some new maps for publication in early 2015. If we don't have what you seek, we may be able to source something via our Ordnance Survey side. We hope you find what you are looking for! |
